The ministry team at Christ Church, Waltham Cross braved the weather yesterday evening with their "Ashes to Go" outreach to the local community.

Positioned on the pavement outside the Church and Theobalds Grove Station, we offered passers-by on the street and coming off the commuter trains the opportunity for "a prayer and blessing".

We were delighted that despite the rain, a considerable number of people took up the offer. It was touching how many folk commented afterwards that "it had been just what they needed".
