A Coronation Bible Study at Hatfield Heath URC

Beginning Tuesday, June 27th, Revd Blair Kirkby will be leading a Bible Study, "On human kings and the King of Kings." There will be four sessions beginning at 12 noon and ending at 1:15pm. Feel free to bring a bag lunch and join in on the discussions.

• Session 1- Israel's ambivalence about a King: 1 Samuel 8
• Session 2- The mixed and unfaithful bunch that became Kings and the promise of a different sort of King:Zechariah 9:9-13
• Session 3- Paul's problematic words about rulers and some thoughts about principalities and powers: Romans 13:1-7
• Session 4- Jesus as King and is there a place for the monarchy in the modern world: The Kingdom parables
