We are pleased to be able to offer two short training courses focusing on First Aid and Health and Safety.

Both courses will be held at Hoddesdon Methodist Church.

First Aid Awareness Course

Saturday 9 July 2022
10am — 1pm

This short 3-hour course will provide a general overview of First Aid including:

  • Accident reporting
  • Scene survey
  • Choking
  • Bleeding
  • Asthma
  • Epi pen for allergy
  • Minor head injuries
  • CPR & use of defibrillator
  • This course is open to all from churches in HAEBEA.
  • A certificate of attendance will be given; HOWEVER, this is not a formal First Aid Qualification Course.

Health & Safety Awareness Course

Saturday 9 July 2022
1.30pm — 3.30pm

This short 2-hour course will provide a general overview of topics including:

  • Fire safety
  • Manual handling
  • Safe working at heights
  • This course is open to all from churches in HAEBEA.
  • A certificate of attendance will be given; HOWEVER, this is not a formal qualification course.
