Growing Faith: May 2019
What is Alpha?
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone's welcome. It runs in cafés, churches, universities, homes — you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a talk and good conversation.
Alpha @ Church Langley
Alpha @ Church Langley starts on Thursday 16 May and then every Thursdays at 7.00 pm for 10 weeks.
- Each week we will start with a simple meal together, watch a video and then discuss in small groups.
- We will explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions from Who is Jesus? and How can we have faith? to Why and how do I pray? and How does God guide us?
- Your questions, comments and reasoning will help us all explore life, faith and meaning
Who is Alpha for?
Everyone is welcome - no faith or Christian knowledge necessary — just come and discuss life's big questions
