Revd Cecil White has introduced a 'Retreat During the Day' for members of his four churches in Hertfordshire And Essex Border Ecumenical Area. Churches in Epping, North Weald, and Ongar have been invited to participate in two designated weeks in Advent. Cecil said, "I want participants to see the season of Advent for what it is, and not to go headlong into Christmas."

Individuals are invited to sign-up on a given day of their choosing. They meet with Cecil first thing for prayer guidance and have the option of a meeting at the end of the day (no more than 20 minutes). He advises them on how to approach the day ahead offering them resources.

Along with this they are invited to join a WhatsApp group: AdventRetreat2018. This offers a forum for Retreatants to share their reflections and for Cecil to give regular devotional updates, whether they be prayers or video clips appropriate to the season.

If you'd like more information or would like to have your own Advent Retreat please do not hesitate to contact Revd Cecil. Tel: 07483 147441
