Bereavement Resources

A simple reflection at home on the day of a funeral you can't attend

One of the sad realities of our new 'socially distanced' world mean it may not always be possible for everyone to attend a funeral, whether for family, friend of neighbour.

These two short reflections, one from the Church of England and one from the Methodist Church have been specially written to help you say your formal goodbyes while remaining in your home.

You can also use material from the URC Virtual Funerals booklet.

You may wish to use these services alone or with those who share your home, and you might like to invite others to take part at the same time from their home, via Zoom, Skype, WhatsApp or telephone.
