Christ Church – Eco Church Bronze Award

Congratulations to all at Christ Church, Waltham Cross who have been awarded a Bronze Award from Eco Church.

The official certificate has been received and is on display in the Church Porch.

The church community had already doing some of the things required such as fair-trade, recycling and not using disposables. Some of the extra things that led to the Bronze Award included:

• Installing LED lighting throughout the church
• Using recycled paper and environmentally friendly cleaning products
• Using email, website and social media to reduce the amount of printed material
• Calculating the carbon footprint of the church
